Joseph F. Gibbons, Jr.

Vice President of Government Relations

Joseph Gibbons is Vice President of Government Relations for Medical Mutual. In this position, Mr. Gibbons is frequently called upon to present the Company’s view on healthcare matters before the Ohio and Federal legislatures. He has served as a participant on a number of health-related commissions and agencies.

Mr. Gibbons has been associated with Medical Mutual since 1982. Prior to his association with Medical Mutual, Mr. Gibbons worked for the City of Boston in its Washington federal relations office. He also worked on the staff of the late Congressman James Burke of Massachusetts.

Mr. Gibbons holds a master’s degree in Health Services Administration from The George Washington University and an undergraduate degree in Government from Georgetown University.
