John Perrone
Vice President, Market Leader, Government
John Perrone is Vice President, Market Leader, Government for Medical Mutual. He is responsible for the performance of the Company’s government book of business, which includes sales, retention, client services and financial performance. Mr. Perrone and the Government Team are responsible for and serve all public sector entities with 50 or more eligible employees.
Mr. Perrone first joined Medical Mutual in 1987 as Sales Manager of Major Accounts and held similar positions in the Sales & Customer Relations division until leaving the Company at the end of 1994. He provided managed-care consulting services for DMI and PricewaterhouseCoopers before rejoining Medical Mutual in 1998 as Director of Network Administrative Services. Since rejoining the Company, Mr. Perrone has held positions in which he has been responsible for Network Access, Product Development and, in his most recent assignment, Senior Market Leader.
Before entering the healthcare industry, Mr. Perrone spent 14 years in Human Resources management.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Supervision from Purdue University.
