MORE HEALTHCARE CHOICES FOR INDIANA CONSUMERS COMING SOON

Fort Wayne – Parkview Health announced today an agreement to partner with Consumers Life Insurance Company to form a new healthcare network to broaden services to Fort Wayne, northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio residents.
Consumers Life Vice President Lincoln Lafayette said the partnership is significant for Indiana healthcare consumers. “They will find our partnership with Parkview will provide more choices and much better access to quality healthcare.”
Included in the new network partnership are Fort Wayne’s Parkview Hospital, Parkview North Hospital, Parkview Huntington Hospital, Parkview Noble Hospital, Parkview Whitley Hospital and Parkview LaGrange Hospital. The new partnership will take effect February 1.
Mike Packnett, president and CEO of Parkview Health, said the Consumers Life partnership will expand Parkview Health’s ability to provide quality healthcare services. “To all who entrust their care to us, this partnership will enable us to further improve the needs of our communities and position Parkview Health as northeastern Indiana's leading provider of healthcare services,” said Packnett.
Today’s announcement follows on the heels of Parkview’s recent ground-breaking for the new Parkview Regional Medical Center. The $536 million, 900,000 square foot facility will encompass 115 acres and extend south of the current Parkview North Hospital campus into the 33 acres north of Parkview’s Corporate Office.
