CLEVELAND – Medical Mutual is launching a free mobile app, MedMutual, to help its 1.6 million members access ID cards and healthcare providers while “on the go.”

“Our members told us they want everywhere, anytime, search access to physicians, hospitals and urgent care facilities,” said Mark Pencek, Medical Mutual’s vice president of Member Engagement.

“The MedMutual mobile application is a huge step for us and we put a lot of effort into it,” noted Pencek. “The app gives our members instant information with everything from accessing their ID cards to finding a hospital or doctors nearby, right in the palm of their hand.”

The free MedMutual app, which connects Medical Mutual members to the largest network of doctors and hospitals in Ohio, is available to members with iOS (Apple) and Android mobile devices for download from the App StoreSM or Google Play.

More information on the MedMutual app is posted on Medical Mutual’s website,
