Medical Mutual strives to create a welcoming, engaging and constructive community through our social media platforms. We welcome feedback, new ideas and constructive interaction. You are encouraged to submit comments, questions, and concerns, but please note we ask commenters to post content that is relevant and respectful. Do not share any personal or health information on public forums. Instead, please send us a direct message should you have a concern or issue with which you need assistance.

Medical Mutual reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove any postings that do not adhere to our guidelines and to block anyone who violates our guidelines.

Medical Mutual does not tolerate the types of posts and comments that:

  • Promote, foster or perpetuate discrimination or attacks on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, or any other form of discrimination, at the sole discretion of Medical Mutual

  • Are illegal, maliciously false, profane, libelous, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, or abusive to another person or entity

  • Contain spam, advertising, or solicitations; this includes links to other content

  • Are obscene, vulgar, or sexually explicit; this includes pictures, GIFS, acronyms, abbreviations and links to other content

  • Are fraudulent or deceptive messages

  • Promote services, products, or political organizations or campaigns

  • Infringe on copyrights or trademarks

  • Advocate illegal activity

  • Violate any policies of Medical Mutual

Please note that the comments expressed on our social media platforms do not reflect the opinions and official position of Medical Mutual.

Medical Mutual monitors social media comments between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, except holidays. We will respond to appropriate comments and inquiries within 24 hours of the post time. Comments and messages sent on weekends will be responded to on the following business day.
