Diversity at Medical Mutual

At Medical Mutual, diversity is more than just race, age, gender or creed. We define diversity as all the factors that make a person unique, shape how they see the world and how they relate to others.

Medical Mutual would not be successful if we all looked, acted and thought in the same way. Our differences are what allow us to grow and succeed. Because of these expectations, we have created a Diversity Committee within our Board of Directors and have appointed a Chief Diversity Officer.

 

Strategy

Medical Mutual is focused on recruiting, retaining and developing a diverse workforce by:

  • Providing ongoing diversity training and educational opportunities to enhance cross-cultural understanding.
  • Developing and maintaining a balanced employee base by expanding traditional recruiting efforts to include internships, expanded community outreach and diversity-based advertising.
  • Partnering with minority organizations.
  • Developing diversity metrics
