Lincoln LaFayette

Vice President of New Market Development and Administration

Lincoln LaFayette is Vice President of New Market Development and Administration for Medical Mutual of Ohio. His responsibilities include coordinating all out-of-state activities for Consumers Life Insurance Company, one of Medical Mutual’s out-of-state health insurance subsidiaries, as well as overseeing the underwriting, product development, pricing and filing of products in each of Consumers Life new states. In addition, he coordinates with senior management and Business Distribution Solutions, the Company’s out-of-state distribution agency, to determine new-market targets. Lincoln is also involved with Carolina Care Plan and helps to ensure that the company receives the internal support it needs, follows underwriting standards, renewal standards, product development, etc.

Prior to joining the Company in January 2006, Mr. LaFayette worked as Senior Vice President of Insurance Operations for Ceres Group where he was responsible for managing new business and overseeing the underwriting, policy services, customer service and billing departments. His previous experience includes various positions at Pioneer Life Insurance Company in Rockford, Ill., including Second Vice-President and Vice President of Policy Issue, Underwriting and Consumer Affairs. He was also Vice President of New Business and Commissions of the Health Strategic Business Unit for Conseco, which acquired Pioneer Life.

Mr. LaFayette has a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management from Rockford College in Illinois.
