Kevin S. Lauterjung
Vice President, Healthcare Finance & Network Management
Kevin Lauterjung is Medical Mutual’s Vice President, Healthcare Finance & Network Management. He is responsible for the Company’s propriety provider networks.
Mr. Lauterjung served previously in Medical Mutual’s marketing department as the Market Leader for its individual insurance products. He began his career at Medical Mutual as a Regional Network Administrator, managing the hospital and ancillary provider network in southeastern Ohio.
Prior to joining Medical Mutual in 1998, Mr. Lauterjung served six years in the U.S. Army as an officer in the Corps of Engineers, where he attained the rank of Captain. During his service he was the Battalion Intelligence Officer of the 3rd Engineer Battalion, 24th Infantry Division, during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
Mr. Lauterjung’s other professional experiences include managed care consulting with Medimetrix Group, a national managed care firm, and group practice management as Director of Operations for a multi-specialty physician group practice.
He received his bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and his MBA with concentrations in Finance and Health Services Management from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Mr. Lauterjung has given his time as an instructor for the Akron Junior Achievement (JA) program and is currently a member of the board of directors for the USO of Northern Ohio.
