I was recently laid off from my job, and was thinking of going on COBRA. What are the options available to me?
If you were covered by your employer’s group health insurance, you will be eligible to receive COBRA for eighteen months or longer if disabled. You also have the option of purchasing Medical Mutual’s personal health insurance SuperMed One, which is often more affordable than COBRA.
