SuperMed Choice Options
Medical Mutual's SuperMed Choice Options helps you control your healthcare costs through the product's flexible cost-sharing options available for employees to choose from. SuperMed Choice Options offers three series of SuperMed Plus plans, each with varying cost-sharing levels.
How it Works ...
- Employers choose from a variety of options based on group size to establish a contribution level for employees.
- Employees have the option to 'buy up' to a more expensive benefit plan with increased contributions.
- Employers may select a standard plan along with a richer medical plan. Once the standard plan is selected, the employer can fix the contribution amount toward all medical plans by contract type. Employees decide how much they wish to spend to purchase a plan above their standard plan.

- Employees pick a plan that best meets their insurance needs among the deductibles and plan designs offered.
- Employers can manage their contribution levels and, after making that decision, combine their SuperMed Choice Options selection with ancillary benefits to better manage employee relations' issues.
- Employees may still access the same SuperMed Plus plans, including provider networks and NCQA-accredited quality.
