DenteMax is a preferred provider network of independent dentists who accept a set discounted fee for dental services. DenteMax has an extensive network of quality providers throughout the United States. DenteMax ensures that all dentists admitted to the network have been carefully screened, and that they meet or exceed a set of standards designed to deliver the highest quality, most appropriate care.
Is DenteMax an insurance company?
No, DenteMax is a dental network. They do not administer benefits. Medical Mutual determines benefit levels and administers those benefits.
Whom does the DenteMax network apply to?
Whether you have SuperDental or Traditional Dental*, you can take advantage of the DenteMax network. Network providers have agreed to accept DenteMax’s discounted fee schedule as payment in full - after applicable copays and/or coinsurance. Because DenteMax dentists have agreed not to balance bill for covered services, your out-of-pocket expenses are reduced.
NOTE: Benefit coverage will vary depending upon the dental plan elected by your employer. Medical Mutual does not cover all services in full. For specific coverage levels, please refer to your plan certificate.
* Alternately funded Traditional Dental groups must purchase access to the DenteMax network. Please contact your employer to see if you have DenteMax network access.
Is DenteMax limited to any particular region?
No, DenteMax is a national organization with networks in 46 states. As with other dental networks, certain areas have more participation than others due to regional population variations. DenteMax is dedicated to the continued expansion of their dental networks throughout the United States.
