Using in-network providers can help you save money. MedMutual Find a Provider, available on My Health Plan and in the MedMutual mobile app, makes it easy to find doctors, hospitals, specialists and pharmacies. Search for providers by name, location, hospital affiliation and more. Be sure to select the correct network when searching:

  • SuperMed® PPO network: Our SuperMed PPO network offers coverage in all 88 Ohio counties and three Kentucky counties (Boone, Campbell and Kenton). It includes almost every Ohio hospital and more than 70,000 providers.
  • Cigna PPO® network*: If you or one of your covered dependents live or spend significant time outside the Medical Mutual service area, you can rest easy knowing you’ll also have access to the Cigna PPO network. This makes it easy to get in-network care no matter where you are. It’s a great solution if you have a college student on your plan, or if you frequently travel outside of Ohio.

If you need additional help finding a provider, call Medical Mutual Customer Care at the number on the back of your member ID card.

*Effective Jan. 1, 2023, Medical Mutual will change from our current national network to the Cigna PPO network.

The emergency room (ER) isn’t always the best option. Understanding your options before you need care can save you time and money. Our Where to Find Care flyer can help you understand what’s a real emergency and what’s not, so you can make the right decision. Remember, saving the ER for true emergencies will save you time, money, and allow hospital staff to attend to patients with real emergencies. When you visit the ER for non-emergencies, you’ll be responsible for any charges.

My Health Plan®

My Health Plan, Medical Mutual’s members-only website, puts you in control of your health and health plan. It’s personal, secure and makes it easy to manage your plan and get the most out of your benefits. Log in to My Health Plan to use the MedMutual Find a Provider tool, view Explanation of Benefit (EOB) statements, and access lots of valuable tools and resources to help you be your healthiest self. Members can register or log in at MedMutual.com/Member.

Our new and enhanced Find a Provider tool makes it easier than ever to find in-network providers near you. Search by name, condition, facility type, distance from home and more. You can also view quality ratings of network doctors and compare costs so you can make the best decision for your health and wallet.

Left your member ID card at home?  Don’t worry. You can email or fax a copy to your provider – right from your smartphone. Log in to the mobile app and choose ID Card from the main menu.

Visit our Wellness Portal to learn about programs and tools to help you maintain or improve your health and well-being. Complete our short, online Health Assessment to identify your risks for certain chronic diseases. You’ll also receive tips and information to help you manage and improve your health.

The Wellness Portal also features articles, healthy recipes, fun fitness challenges, and online classes on a variety of health and wellness topics. Log in to My Health Plan and choose Wellness Portal under the Healthy Living tab.
