Medical Mutual offers a variety of Individual and Family ACA plans that fit any lifestyle and budget. In 2023, we’ve added MedMutual Pet™ – powered by Wagmo – to all our Individual and Family ACA plans and enhanced our networks to provide greater access to doctors and hospitals throughout Ohio. Network Enhancements

The following network changes have been made to provide our members with greater access to care.

  • We’ve combined our Adena, Cincinnati and Dayton HMO networks to form the Southern Ohio HMO network. Members living in this area now have access to the Mercy Health System, Premier Health, The Christ Hospital and the Kettering Hospital System.
  • CLE-Care HMO Individual is a new network that is available in Cuyahoga County and uses the MetroHealth System.
  • Wood County Hospital is now a part of the Northern Ohio HMO network.

Member Perks

Our plans include the following exclusive perks that our members can take advantage of.

  • New! MedMutual Pet powered by Wagmo. Members can be reimbursed up to $350 for pet wellness services that typically aren’t covered by pet insurance. Examples of these services include a wellness exam, vaccines and blood work.
  • A wellness rewards program. Our Bravo wellness program offers members up to $100 in rewards for completing certain health activities.
  • $0 on-demand telemedicine. Our members can meet with a provider virtually by using their mobile device or computer for most plans.
  • $0 select preventive generic drugs. Most Individual and Family plans include $0 generic preventive prescription drugs. 

Plan Designs

We will continue offering a variety of plans in all metal levels. Our plan offerings include designs with office visits and Rx copays that are important to many members. We will also continue to offer HSA compatible plans for those members looking for tax savings opportunities along with their health insurance. Plan highlights include:

  • New Standard Plans in Gold, Silver and Bronze metal levels.
