Community Spotlight: Bringing Joy to a Local Make-A-Wish Family

Medical Mutual’s vision to be the most devoted advocate for our community is more than words; it’s reflected in moments where care, connection and purpose come together in meaningful ways. Through our Company’s donation to Make A Wish Foundation of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, a local child — three year old Kali — was able to enjoy a special wish that brought joy, hope and unforgettable memories to her and her family.
Kali lives with neuromuscular disorder, a condition that affects how the nerves and muscles work together and can make everyday movements more difficult due to muscle weakness. Despite these challenges, Kali’s personality shines — especially when it comes to one of her favorite activities: shopping. Thanks to a special Make A Wish experience, Kali enjoyed a wonderful shopping spree, including a visit to the Build A Bear Workshop.
