After Enrollment: MedMutual Advantage Member Resources

We’re excited you’ve chosen Medical Mutual for quality, Ohio-based Medicare Advantage coverage. Here’s a glimpse at what you can expect after enrollment in a MedMutual Advantage® plan. 

Important Plan Information

After processing and accepting a MedMutual Advantage plan enrollment application, Medical Mutual will begin to send important plan information, including: 

  • Member ID Cards
  • Important informational letters - We may request additional information if we think you could benefit from programs designed to manage costs, like the Medicare Prescription Payment Program. 
  • Over-the-counter benefit (OTC) cards – If your plan has an OTC benefit, we will send you an OTC benefit card and instructions on how to use it. Returning members can continue to use their current OTC benefit card.
  • Health assessment – This assessment helps Medical Mutual connect members with condition-specific resources, like our chronic condition management programs. You can access this assessment by registering for our member website, My Health Plan, and selecting MedMutual WELL® under the Healthy Living tab.

Welcome Outreach

We’ll help you better understand your plan and connect you to important programs and resources. We do this through:  

  • Welcome kits – This will come in the mail and include a MedMutual Advantage member guide. 
  • Welcome calls – Our AI care navigator, Stephanie, will reach out soon. During this call, Stephanie can answer questions, explain your benefits and help you start using your plan. You can learn more about Stephanie here.
  • Welcome emails – We’ll send helpful information to get you started with popular benefits, Medical Mutual’s digital resources and more.
