Cleveland’s new Midtown Collaboration Center opened in May, introducing partners like Case Western Reserve University’s Institute of Population and Community Health (IPCH) — a top priority for the School of Medicine. IPCH’s mission is threefold: partner with residents to address social determinants of health; advance community-engaged research and education; and shape the next generation of health and wellness. Medical Mutual strengthened this work by establishing an endowed chair to lead research and guide a multidisciplinary team of faculty, staff and students. IPCH is already building momentum through initiatives such as smoking cessation programs and a community advisory board, laying the groundwork for healthier neighborhoods across Northeast Ohio.

As Ohio’s hometown health insurer, Medical Mutual’s commitment to care extends far beyond providing coverage — it reaches into the heart of the communities we serve. We proudly partner with local organizations to break barriers, strengthen neighborhoods and meet Ohioans’ evolving health needs.
