Reporting Suspected Healthcare Fraud

Protecting the premiums of Medical Mutual's policyholders is the company's highest priority. Medical Mutual occupies a seat on the National Healthcare Anti-Fraud Association Board of Governors. Medical Mutual is also a member of numerous anti-fraud task forces, combining efforts with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies.

How do I report suspected fraud?
All information received is strictly confidential. Please notify Medical Mutual if you suspect healthcare fraud & abuse against the company by using the following resources:

  • Online: Use the form below to email us about the suspected fraud.  E-mail is secure and encrypted for your protection.
  • Hotline: 800.553.1000. All calls are confidential and can be made Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

What happens after suspected fraud is reported?
The Medical Mutual Financial Investigations Department will begin researching materials such as claims records. At that point an investigator may request relevant medical documentation from the parties involved. All materials are then analyzed before a final determination is made.
