Medical Mutual has been celebrating dedicated senior citizen volunteers throughout Ohio for more than three decades. Finding housing for homeless veterans, starting a book bank for children in need, and beautifying neighborhood parks are just a few of the ways these energetic volunteers are making an impact and leaving a legacy of service in our communities.
Medical Mutual will recognize the top four finalists—platinum, gold, silver and bronze—and all honorable mention recipients in five Ohio regions. Awardees, their guests and nominating representatives will be invited to a complimentary luncheon and awards ceremony later this year.
If the platinum award winner was nominated by an organization, a $500 donation will be made on behalf of the winner to that organization. If the platinum award winner was nominated by an individual, a $500 donation will be made on behalf of the winner to one organization of their choice.
Nominations are now open for: Northeast Ohio, Central Ohio, Southern Ohio, Mahoning Valley and Miami Valley.
- Nominees must be at least age 60 and actively engaged in a volunteer activity for a minimum one year.
- Nominees are not required to carry Medical Mutual insurance.
- Previous non-winning nominees may be renominated.
