Choosing a Health Plan That's Right for You

We have more doctors and hospitals than any other insurance company in Ohio. Check the Network.

Finding a health plan that’s right for you can seem overwhelming with so many options out there. But, Medical Mutual can help you choose a plan that fits your unique needs and your budget.

First, you should determine if you qualify for a federal subsidy, which can help cover some costs when buying a health plan. Not sure if you qualify? Try our Tax Subsidy Estimator.

Next, answer our questions below and explore our suggested plans. We have options whether or not you use a subsidy to buy a health plan.

Which best describes your preference when choosing insurance plans?

I prefer to keep my deductibles low and don't mind paying higher monthly costs to do so.
Higher deductibles are okay with me. My primary goal is to keep my monthly payment low.
I'd like to try and find something in the middle where deductibles and premium are neither at the highest or lowest end of the spectrum.

Which best describes your preference in the types of benefits your insurance plan provides?

I prefer to have set copay amounts for common benefits like doctor vists and prescription drugs.
I prefer a plan that has one deductible for all my expenses that may also be able to provide me tax advantages for qualified medical expenses.
