Introducing Medical Mutual’s $0 Deductible Plans

Medical Mutual’s midsize fully insured group plans are designed to offer a range of comprehensive health insurance options that help employers manage costs while supporting employee wellness. Medical Mutual is enhancing our midsize portfolio to include two $0 deductible plans that don’t require members to meet a minimum out-of-pocket amount before medical expenses are covered.

What to know about the $0 deductible plan  

The $0 deductible plan is available on the SuperMed® network for two maximum out-of-pocket (MOOP) options: 

  • Option 1: $5,000 Single/$10,000 Family MOOP 
  • Option 2: $8,000 Single/$16,000 Family MOOP 

Members receive first-dollar coverage with predictable expenses and comprehensive preventive care, encouraging timely treatments that help reduce emergency room (ER) visits and chronic conditions.

Another benefit is a $0 copay telehealth service through MinuteClinic®**, allowing members quick, safe access to healthcare providers with minimal disruption to their daily lives. Telehealth virtual appointments provide:

  • Convenience from the comfort and safety of home or while traveling.

Standard plan vs. $0 deductible plan: What’s the difference?
