All Medicare Advantage plans from Medical Mutual include coverage for dental, vision and hearing care at no additional cost. You can also purchase extra dental and vision coverage to meet your needs with our Optional Supplemental Benefits package. Dental Benefits
All MedMutual Advantage® plans include preventive dental coverage and some plans include comprehensive coverage for things like root canals, dentures and implants. Coverage includes:
- $0 copay for preventive exams
- Two exams, two cleanings and one bitewing X-ray
- Comprehensive coverage up to $3,000, including dentures and implants, on select plans
Vision Benefits
All plans include preventive vision benefits, as well as an eyewear allowance.
- $0 copay for annual preventive exam
- Up to a $250 eyewear allowance to use on glasses or contact lenses
Hearing Benefits
All plans include coverage for preventive hearing exams, as well as hearing aid fittings and discounts on hearing aids.
- One routine hearing exam
- Three hearing aid fittings
- Hearing aid copays as low as $499
Optional Supplemental Benefits
You can also purchase additional dental and vision benefits for $34 a month. Select this option when you enroll in coverage or within your first 30 days as a member. Coverage includes:
- $1,000 of additional comprehensive dental coverage
- Additional vision exam
- Additional $150 eyewear allowance to use on glasses or contact lenses
Note: If you enroll in our MedMutual Advantage Premium PPO plan, the additional dental and vision coverage is already included in your plan.
